Job Description
Part Time /Full Time Golf Pro Shop positions available. Pay is dependent upon your level of experience and will be discussed during the interview process. Flexible schedules are available. Strong customer service and computer skills are required.

Applicants MUST be highly familiar with the game of golf or have prior golf course employment experience working in a pro shop.
Pine Lakes Golf Club is a Signature Arnold Palmer design located in the city of Palm Coast. Facility amenities include: 18 Hole Golf course, golf practice area & range, clubhouse with full service restaurant, banquet & catering facilities and pool.
PGA credentials are welcome but not required to apply. While hours, responsibilities and pay will vary based on the ability, experience and responsibilities of the candidate applying, professionalism and the desire to do a job well is essential.
Based on the laevel of experience of the applicant, Responsibilities may include:
Daily Pro Shop operations: Accurately operate computerized point of sale/ tee sheet system and manage day to day reports, deposits and opening or closeout.
Responsible for opening and/ or closing and securing golf shop and golf areas using established procedures. Fielding tee time requests, checking in golfers, handling merchandise and range ball sales and maintaining a clean and professional pro shop are daily responsibilities. Turning golf carts, assisting guests on course, insuring pace of play and addressing guest requests or problems may also be required.
Communication and coordination with outside staff when working in the pro shop is essential.
Ensure that you are providing a friendly, professional and courteous level of customer service and communication with guests and other staff.
Strong computer skills are a must. Experience with golf club software and Microsoft Word & Excel is helpful but not critical. We are willing to train you but you must be train-able!
Good organizational and verbal skills and the ability to use logical and rational thinking to solve problems and efficient use of down time is important.
As a public golf facility our goal is to provide the best golf experience we can within our budget. This requires that we work effectively and efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in difficult weather conditions including heat, rain and humidity.
Possess the physical stamina and energy to remain active and work efficiently during your shift. The ability to lift, move, push, pull, and carry up to 15 pounds without assistance may be required.
