What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Mechanic position at Pine Island Marina?
We are looking for experienced marine mechanics to join our expanding Service Department. Our marina hires experienced members of the marine trades who are reliable, organized, and hardworking.
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in the industry servicing mechanical and ship’s systems.
Certifications are a plus (ABYC, Mercury, Yamaha, Westerbeke, Cummins, Yanmar, etc.).
Candidate must be proficient in marine engine maintenance both gas and diesel, generator service, outboard service, running gear, and domestic systems onboard vessels ranging from 15 ft. to 45ft.
Candidate must personable and willing to converse with customers.
Candidate must be fit and able to work in technical spaces onboard vessels.
Candidate must be a team player.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Pay: $20.00 – $50.00 per hour
