We are seeking an energetic and engaging High School Math Teacher who is passionate about teaching and committed to student success. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, and have the ability to create a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote critical thinking.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support student learning.
Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
Integrate Christian values into all aspects of music instruction and helps students develop their musical talents as an expression of their faith
Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching credential or license in secondary mathematics education.
Proven experience in teaching high school mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, etc.).
A commitment to the values and mission of Pine Hills Adventist Academy.
Candidates must be members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
