What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Assistant position at Pine Hill Plantation?
Job Duties
- Always maintains a neat and tidy personal appearance with a smile on your face.
- Speaks with guests by, engaging with them in conversation, learning the history of our plantation, and an eagerness to share our food and beverage program.
- Performs daily housekeeping of Guest rooms and common areas.
- Performs Guest Meal Service with proper service etiquette.
- Aids in preparation of meals
- Coordination with Lodge Staff concerning the days schedule and meals. (Staff and Guests Schedule)
- Aid in receiving and correctly storing provisions
- Maintain positive team attitude, respect of individual dignity, strong working relationship with all staff and managers
Job Requirements
- 2 years of FOH experience and/or Hotel/Housekeeping Experience.
- Genuine passion for service
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work for extended duration.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to perform house cleaning tasks, food stocking tasks, including ability to lift 30 pounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 60 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
