About the Role
The Credentialing Specialist is a critical team member responsible for ensuring compliance, supporting onboarding processes, and maintaining the high standards that define Pine Health. The Credentialing Specialist is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a keen eye for detail, and brings urgency and purpose to achieving goals.
Responsibilities
- Enforces field staff compliance established by the Pine Health leadership team.
- Documents and maintains proficiency in all support functions and activities to ensure all compliance metrics are met.
- Proactively assists the team and field staff through the contractor onboarding process by engaging, reviewing, and validating the appropriate credentials are met.
- Tracks and monitors all pre-assignment, and contract specific requirements to ensure compliance prior to activating new staff.
- Coordinates activities to obtain updated credentials from staff on assignment prior to expiration.
- Adapts to and incorporates the latest technology into daily processes to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Displays strong organizational skills and time management skills to efficiently support the team.
- Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication within the office as well as with clients, field staff, and team members.
- Provides excellent customer service to all constituents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree required.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
Required Skills
- Healthcare terminology experience preferred.
- One year work experience in a team environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively elicit from and provide information to all team members, clients and suppliers using strong communication skills.
