Part-Time Music Teacher (2026–2027 School Year)Pine Harbor Christian Academy | Approximately 12 Hours/Week

Pine Harbor Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time position works with Kindergarten through 8th grade students and offers the opportunity to inspire a love for music while supporting students’ spiritual and personal growth in a Christian school environment.

PHCA is a growing Christian academy located in a beautiful wooded setting near Hastings and Cottage Grove. We are committed to strong academics, Biblical values, leadership development, and building meaningful relationships with students and families.

Current Schedule:

Tuesdays 9:15 AM – 2:15 PM | K–6 Music Classes

Wednesdays 12:40 PM – 2:15 PM | 7th/8th Grade Music Classes

Thursdays 9:15 AM – 1:30 PM | K–4 Music Classes

We are also open to discussing alternative schedule options.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Christian education and the spiritual development of children
• Willingness and ability to share their personal Christian faith and represent the mission, beliefs, and values of Pine Harbor Christian Academy and the Harbor Church
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field preferred
• Experience teaching music to children
• Knowledge of standards-based music curriculum and student assessment tools preferred
• Experience designing and implementing engaging music curriculum preferred
