As Director of Nursing, you will lead all clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of care for residents while fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee 24-hour nursing operations in a skilled nursing facility
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead, coach, and develop nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
- Drive quality improvement and positive clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and families
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows
- Support admissions and census growth initiatives
- Active RN license (required)
- 2 years of nursing leadership experience (DON, ADON, Unit Manager)
- 5 years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Strong knowledge of survey readiness and regulatory compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Passion for resident-centered care and staff development
