Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Administer medications to patients as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Provide catheter care and assist with personal hygiene needs of residents.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of medication administration.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in home care settings, providing support to patients in their daily activities.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory guidelines regarding patient care.

Skills

• Proficient in acute care practices and understanding of medical terminology.
• Experience in administering medications and familiarity with medication systems.
• Strong knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques.
• Ability to provide catheter care with respect for patient dignity.
• Experience in senior care and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
