Position: Recorder Specialist Location: Pine City Courthouse
Union: AFSCME Courthouse Unit FLSA Status: FT, Non-Exempt
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES DESIRED:
- Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions.
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures to include records management.
· Skilled in the use of office equipment, including copier, computer, scanners, telephone and calculator.
· Knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Landshark, Landlink and Beacon programs.
- Ability to understand and follow comprehensive oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work without close supervision or no supervision when necessary.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer applications.
· Considerable ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work with the public.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other county officials, clientele and the public.
- Knowledge of county agencies and other programs with the ability to refer inquiries to the appropriate department or agency. Must be able to locate reference information when assisting the public.
