Responsibilities include:
- Building a presentation model for an upcoming Portland design event
- Repairing and refining existing architectural models
- Photographing and documenting completed models
- Potential assistance with additional models and other design-related tasks as projects arise.
- Assistance with presentation layout and graphic Illustration tasks.
Qualifications:
- Current architecture student, intern, or recent graduate
- Experience building high-quality architectural models
- Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with common model-making materials and techniques
- Any experience with Rockite is a plus.
- Adobe Indesign / Illustrator.
Position Details:
- Part-time, short-term position (with the possibility of additional project-based work)
- Flexible schedule
- Compensation – $25 - $35 an hour, depending on experience.
- Any NCARB AXP task cedits can be approved
- Duration 3-4 weeks. More tasks may be made available during the Fall depending on schedule.
