Mobile Diesel Technician

Pine Belt Fleet Services is hiring an experienced diesel technician for a primarily mobile role. You’ll diagnose and repair trucks and trailers at fleet yards, customer locations, and roadside breakdowns, with occasional work in our shop.
We’re looking for someone who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and document repairs thoroughly.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair Class 1–8 trucks and trailers
- Respond to scheduled field work and roadside service calls
- Troubleshoot electrical, brake, air, suspension, steering, hydraulic, drivetrain, and engine issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Record diagnostic findings, repairs, and recommendations accurately
- Keep your service truck, tools, and work area organized
- Follow company safety procedures
What you’ll need
- At least 5 years of diesel or heavy truck repair experience
- Strong diagnostic skills, including the ability to read electrical schematics
- A valid driver’s license and driving record that qualifies you to operate a company service truck
- Your own tools
- The ability to work independently and communicate well with customers
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Mobile service experience and a CDL are preferred.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Occasional after-hours emergency calls may be required.
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
