Responsibilities
- Serve as named Fund Principal Financial Officer/Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer for 1940 Act registered products.
- Perform detailed and analytical reviews of fund regulatory filings, including N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, 24F-2, 10-K, 10-Q 8-K, repurchase offers and annual prospectus updates.
- Maintain knowledge of changing industry regulations, implement changes to fund processes and disclosures.
- Oversee fund expense administration activities and review fund income and capital gain distributions.
- Prepare and coordinate materials for fund board meetings, valuation committee meetings, and disclosure control meetings related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Coordinate external audit and tax process on behalf of clients, serve as main audit contact.
- Train and oversee Associate and Associate Director members of the PFO team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Maintain and nurture multiple client and business partner relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- 10 years of financial services industry experience (Fund Accounting/Administration and/or audit of registered fund products preferred)
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for delivering an exceptional client experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; strong knowledge of Excel required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Desire to learn, research and think critically
- $120,000 - $175,000
- Employees based near our Denver headquarters follow a hybrid schedule, working onsite three days per week (preferred).
- Remote candidates will be considered for this role, provided they have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
