We are facing significant growth as we expand our operations and service offerings across the country. We’re looking for a bright and motivated Project Manager to join our Industrial Hygiene team in our Michigan Offices – Berkley, MI and/or Okemos, MI.

As the ideal candidate, you are excited to join our project team to help our clients make informed decisions regarding industrial hygiene, property acquisitions, re-development, and contaminated sites management. In this role you will learn about the business, build your own professional network and work closely with senior professionals in the industry. The Project Manager position is ideal for someone looking to build their skills for career advancement and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant Michigan regulations and have at least 3-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

A Day in the life of a Project Manager - Industrial Hygiene

• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Prepare and/or review technical work plans outlining project methodologies, objectives, and deliverables.
• Establish and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication, and deliverables.
• Generate comprehensive and accurate reports detailing projects progress, findings, and recommendations.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand and manage the project goals, timeline, and milestones.
• Manage project profitability by ensuring appropriate budgeting/pricing and utilization of resources and cost controls.
• Be a public relations ambassador by being proactive in presenting and communicating the capabilities and strengths of the company to all publics.
• Communicate and present potential new business or resource information, competitive situations, or technology/regulatory factors to leadership.
• Task management and coordination, client interaction, and data management.
• Maintain a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the Pinchin team

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience with Industrial Hygiene.
• Must be a Michigan Accredited Asbestos Inspector and Certified Lead Inspector.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work in various settings and climates.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must have keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours and be available for travel.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, and the ability to pass a company physical.
