Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Retail Pool Store Manager to lead our store operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. As a key leader in our team, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain inventory control. Your leadership will drive sales growth, optimize store performance, and create an inviting shopping experience for our valued customers.

Duties

• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
• Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge
• Implement merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays that maximize sales potential
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent communication skills
• Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales performance

Skills

• Proven management experience within the pool retail industry, especially in sales team leadership and store management
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles
• Excellent negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations and vendor relations
• Ability to recruit, interview, onboard new employees, and conduct employee orientation effectively
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Skilled in supervising staff performance through coaching and managerial communication
• Proficient in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and operational management tasks
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of retail product lines related to pools or backyard leisure is advantageous
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to foster teamwork and drive sales growth
