Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance and cleaning. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients. This role requires the ability to work independently, utilize hand and power tools effectively, and perform equipment repairs as needed.
**You must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
- Perform repairs on pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients regarding pool issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including maintenance schedules and repairs made.
- Educate clients on proper pool care techniques and recommend products or services as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks related to pool maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pool maintenance practices, including cleaning techniques and chemical balancing.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely in various environments.
