What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Technician position at PINCH A PENNY POOL PATIO SPA?
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports directly to the manager/owner. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DRIVERS LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD and will have some experience in retail/pool service (willing to train). Excellent customer service is a requirement and the candidate needs to be a team player. This position is responsible for cleaning, servicing and chemically treating pools on a designated pool route.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma preferred
Previous pool retail and/or pool supply experience preferred. Will train
Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
Must be 21 years of age or older
ESSENTIAL POOL ROUTE FUNCTIONS:
Conduct pool route visits in timely manner
Demonstrate excellent customer service
Service pools thoroughly - cleaning, brushing, and vacuuming
Complete water testing at each pool site and add chemicals as needed to balance pool water
Document activities accurately using software system
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. Ability to answer phones and perform functions on a computer necessary when interacting with customers and or the corporate office.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
