Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pool Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and servicing residential swimming pools to ensure optimal safety, cleanliness, and functionality. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with pool repair, and a passion for providing excellent pool maintenance services. Duties
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, brushing, and vacuuming pools to maintain clarity and hygiene.
- Conduct water testing and adjust chemical levels to ensure proper water balance and safety standards.
- Inspect and service pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with specialists for complex repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and chemical treatments administered.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Experience with equipment repair and general maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques, water chemistry, and chemical balancing is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and team members.
