Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing swimming pools to ensure safety, cleanliness, and optimal operation. This role requires mechanical aptitude, hands-on skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients. Prior service technician experience is preferred, along with familiarity with pool systems and equipment.
Duties
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and balancing chemical levels
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
- Conduct repairs or replacements of faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain detailed records of service visits and repairs performed
- Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally
- Ensure all pools meet safety standards and operational guidelines
- Respond promptly to service requests and perform emergency repairs when necessary
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe in accordance with safety protocols
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment repair
- Experience with pool maintenance and cleaning procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations
- Strong understanding of pool chemistry and water treatment processes
- Service technician experience preferred, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
