Pinballz Lake Creek isn’t your typical bar—we’re a one-of-a-kind family entertainment destination in Austin featuring classic and modern arcade games, attractions, a full-service restaurant, and a high‑volume bar that keeps the fun going day and night. We’re looking for a driven, charismatic Bar Manager to own the bar experience and take it to the next level.

In this role, you’ll lead a fast-paced, high-output bar operation while creating unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll hire and mentor a talented bar team, curate inventory (especially whiskey lovers—this one’s for you), drive promotions, and ensure operations run smoothly, safely, and profitably. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and fellow leaders to grow the business and elevate our bar program.

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of the bar’s operation—inventory, ordering, budgeting, vendor relationships, and profitability
• Hire, train, and inspire bartenders and barbacks to deliver top-tier service
• Create smart, effective schedules to keep the bar perfectly staffed during peak hours
• Maintain all liquor licenses and ensure 100% compliance with TABC and local regulations
• Set and enforce high standards for quality, safety, and guest experience
• Plan and host promotions and special events that keep guests coming back
• Handle guest and staff concerns with professionalism—de-escalate issues and maintain a fun, safe environment
• Foster a high-energy, positive culture where your team can thrive

What We’re Looking For

• A confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume bar
• Strong inventory management and ordering experience (_required_)
• Whiskey bar experience is a major plus
• Calm under pressure with excellent conflict‑resolution skills
• Organized, decisive, and business‑minded
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays

Experience & Certifications

• 2–4 years of bar management experience in a high-output environment
• Active TABC Certification and Food Handlers Manager Certification
• Solid understanding of bar operations, budgeting, and basic accounting
• Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift in a fast-paced environment
