Based upon your direct experience and background, a salary offer will be presented to you within our starting minimum to midpoint of range ($56,341 - $67,609).

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists with volunteer management, including recruitment, training, supervision, assessment, case assignment, retention, and recognition.
- Responds to inquiries about the CASA program.
- Assist in identifying, building collaborations with, and referring CASAs to appropriate community resource agencies.
- Assists in the planning and development of future programs and services in the center including the development of training and evaluation aspects of the programs and services offered; attends and participates in staff meetings, including program development and strategic planning sessions.
- Partners with the Program Supervisor and other CASA Coordinators to develop and implement public relations, marketing, recruitment, and community outreach/education plans.
- Facilitates case support or other program-related meetings and completes all required set-up and follow-through activities.
- Serves as a liaison between CASA Coordinators and other groups and agencies to facilitate communication, reimbursement, event participation, procedural improvements, or other items of necessity.
- Assists in the development of both orientation training and in-service training modules and the continual monitoring of training improvements.
- Monitors changes or revisions to applicable statues and laws to maintain accurate training materials and information; updates training materials as necessary.
- Assists with the CASA newsletter, including suggesting or composing articles, providing volunteer recognition entries, and proofreading.
- Attends and participates in State-level CASA and Support Council meetings, committees, or events as required.
- Compiles and provides required documentation and statistics for monthly and quarterly reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral/social sciences or related; AND
- Three (3) years of experience in social work, criminal or juvenile justice, mental or behavioral health; OR
- An equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
- Arizona residents must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License upon hire; newly established Arizona Residents must have one within 30 days of hire.
- Child welfare systems, the principles of the CASA program, and community resources pertinent to the CASA program.
- Desktop computers, Microsoft Windows Office software and use of the internet.
- Model Court concepts and principles related to potential volunteers, network providers, partnering agencies, and community agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality in court related matters.
- Work with material/information that is confidential, sensitive or urgent and requiring extreme tact, courtesy and mature judgment.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public.
- Follow instructions, both verbal and written.
- Use a personal computer, electronic networks and other information and communications technologies.
- Prepare clear, concise reports to management.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to audiences of various social, cultural, ethnic, educational and economic backgrounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Typically performs duties in an office environment. Must be willing to work evenings/weekends as required and travel periodically.
