Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with toddlers and infants, and will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This role involves not only supervising children but also assisting with daily activities, meal preparation, and educational play.
Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage toddlers in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up play areas and ensuring hygiene standards.
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and nap times.
- Educate children through interactive play, reading, and other developmental activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Provide support for children with disabilities as needed, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and attention.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings is preferred.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on toddler care.
- Ability to cook healthy meals and prepare snacks for children.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to maintain a clean environment conducive to child development.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus but not required.
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
