Essential Functions
- Targeted Instruction: Implement daily lesson plans and deliver engaging daytime lectures; tailor instruction to meet specific student needs in X-ray lab techniques and radiology procedures.
- Student Success: Maintain high success rates through guidance and encouragement; implement strategies to reduce withdrawals and support student retention during your assignment.
- Academic Record Keeping: Maintain student grades and prepare reports for the semester end; monitor attendance and coordinate with leadership regarding student progress.
- Clinical & Lab Evaluation: Conduct practical demonstrations and evaluate student performance in academic and lab settings to identify and address learning needs.
- Mentorship: Advise students on program curriculum and provide professional insights into the diagnostic radiography field.
- Compliance: Participate in assessment tasks as assigned by the Program Director to maintain JRCERT/accreditation standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by a USDE-recognized body.
- Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT/USDE recognized).
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical diagnostic radiography experience.
- Licensure: ARRT registration in Radiologic Sciences and current Texas state licensure (or equivalent).
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Documented teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
- Experience in academic advising or curriculum development.
- Hourly Pay: $31.00 – $38.75 per hour.
