Lead Pharmacy Technician Instructor
Location: Pima Medical Institute - El Paso Campus | On-Site
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $25.62 – $32.03 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Advisory Board Meetings and lead programmatic faculty meetings to ensure high standards for student outcomes and community satisfaction.
- Review textbooks and course materials; assist with the orientation and mentoring of new faculty members.
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that appeal to different learning styles, ensuring students meet all clinical objectives.
- Partner with Career Services to oversee student progress during clinical externships and maintain contact with site partners.
- Manage supply inventory, track graduate certification pass rates, and participate in annual Program Effectiveness Plans.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited institution recognized by the USDE or CHEA.
- Graduate of an ASHP/ACPE-accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent accredited specialty program.
- Minimum 5 years of occupational experience in pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist or Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in good standing as required by Texas state law.
- Current membership in at least one national and one state pharmacy organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Minimum 3 years of prior teaching experience in the subject field preferred.
