Description:

Summary/Objective:

Manages a variety of general office and administrative tasks in order to support the dealership’s operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare and complete daily morning and evening deposits.
  • Perform various administrative duties such as pulling contracts, entering information in VEH, making payoffs, finalizing deals for all locations and creating various paperwork packets.
  • Complete payroll tasks such as approving timecards, entering driver pay, tech hours and finalizing payroll.
  • Ensure accounts are clear for all stores and reconciling bank statements.
  • Prepare various daily reports such as sales commission, attendance and more as-needed.
  • Handle a variety of occasional administrative tasks such as balancing cash drawer, cashiering, CVR title work, purchase used inventory, answering phones, answering support questions, etc.
  • Supervising and providing direction to subordinate staff members.
  • Various other duties as assigned.

  • Math Ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; Internet software and Order processing systems.

Certifications or Licenses:

Notary Public

Preferred Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees performing various office support duties. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
