Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, including supervising staff and ensuring excellent customer service
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and returns
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling, and providing knowledgeable recommendations
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is inviting
- Perform cashier duties with accuracy and attention to retail math calculations
- Handle customer inquiries via phone etiquette and in-person interactions professionally
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and stocktaking activities
- Promote sales through effective communication skills and product knowledge
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments with POS familiarity
- Supervising experience preferred, with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions
- Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell products confidently
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail operations is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining store presentation
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; previous supervisory or managerial experience is advantageous
