Level and salary commensurate with experience. This position is based in the Midland-Odessa area to support the West Texas and New Mexico operations. The role reports to the Sr Supervisor, QHSE.

Essential Job Duties
- Assist with implementation and administration of the company HSE Management System and safety programs.
- Support compliance initiatives through the KPA EHS online platform.
- Conduct field safety and environmental inspections, audits, and observations.
- Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes.
- Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Pre-Job Meetings, and field safety coaching.
- Support Process Safety and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) activities.
- Monitor operational activities to identify unsafe conditions, environmental risks, and compliance gaps.
- Assist with spill prevention, environmental reporting, waste management, and SWD operational compliance.
- Assist with environmental spill release field screening.
- Provide and coordinate company, customer, federal, state, and local required safety and environmental training.
- Track corrective actions and verify completion of action items.
- Assist with fleet inspections, driver compliance, and non-DOT related safety initiatives.
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety meetings.
- Promote and reinforce a proactive safety culture through visible field presence and employee engagement.
- Identify unsafe acts, conditions, and behaviors that may lead to incidents or operational losses.
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation training.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to safety and environmental compliance.
- Support regional operations and provide additional field support as required.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of oil and gas, water midstream, construction, industrial, or related field experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable state environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with HSE management systems and field safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to identify hazards and assist with developing practical solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong observation and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout assigned operational areas.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 5 years relevant oil and gas, water midstream experience
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, PEC Safeland, NCCER, COSS, CHST, OHST, or other industry-recognized certifications.
- Experience conducting field inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements related to SWD operations and water midstream systems.
- Experience with safety management software platforms.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Work is performed in a standard office environment and at field locations.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and work at a desk and on a computer.
- Must be physically able to conduct site visits, inspections, and field observations.
- Must be able to travel to field assets and other Company locations as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs during field visits and inspections.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and carry equipment used for inspections, as needed.
- May be exposed to loud noise, moving equipment, occupational hazards, and outdoor conditions during field visits.
- Must be able to work in a range of weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust, and other natural elements.
- May be exposed to H2S and other industry-related chemicals in field environments.
- May be required to work in low-light areas and around uneven terrain and may encounter wildlife and other environmental conditions typical of field operations..
