Summary: The Access Control Officers’ main function is to ensure only authorized people enter the Bell Canyon community by verifying identification and logging in vehicles. Along with access control, Access Control Officers must patrol the community and properties owned by Bell Canyon Association. ACOs are responsible for observing and reporting all disruptions, unusual activities, and complaints to their immediate supervisor.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Access and use entry program
- Log in through the computer and/or tablet.
- Enter visitor names into the entry program.
- Follow all entry procedures and policies
- Information must be inputted into the system accurately and efficiently.
- Checking IDs
- Ensure only those with permission enter the community.
- Alert the office of unauthorized construction work or materials delivery.
- Customer service
- ACO must be polite and professional when speaking with visitors, residents, and
- Patrol and Reporting
- ACOs must patrol the community when not taking the gate.
- Respond to resident calls/reports
- Homeless persons
- Suspicious activities/persons
- Lost pets/animals
- Disturbance of peace
- Loud Music
- Loud parties
- Reports must be made accurately and have all pertinent information,
- Damage to BC property
- Vandalism
- Unusual activity
- Resident/Owner complaints
- Install transponders in authorized vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness of entry station
- Perform special tasks if instructed by the office
- Emergencies
- Traffic control
- Run generator in times of power outage
- Dealing with trespassers and homeless
- Communicate with emergency services
- Sending out community eBlasts and change bulletin Board only as directed by the supervisor.
- Practices and adheres to Keystone’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision.
- Any additional job duties as required by the supervisor.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Able to respond with urgency and close the loop.
- Effective interpersonal and conflict management skills.
- Ability to practice sound judgement.
- Collaborate effectively with the residents/guest/visitors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain DMV record that is acceptable per our insurance carrier’s guidelines.
- Must have personal vehicle to use for business purposes.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a Customer Service role.
- High School Diploma required.
