We are seeking a friendly and organized Delivery Driver to join our team at Pilmark Commercial Services. The Delivery Driver is key to ensuring prompt and safe delivery of our laundry and dry cleaning services while maintaining excellent customer service. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and manage time effectively, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Pick and delivery of dry cleaning and laundry garment services
- Provide excellent customer service during customer interactions
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries according to scheduled routes
- Loan and unload goods efficiently
- Safe operation of delivery vehicles
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with route planning to optimize pickup and delivery efficiency
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate deliveries
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues
Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a full-size cargo van
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to address customer issues in a professional manner
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds consistently with no physical restrictions
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role preferred
Additional Information
- Available shifts are Weekdays 6:30am - 2:30pm
- $100.00 Hiring Bonus awarded after 90 days of employment
