POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary objective of this position is to manage key elements of PUC’s annual fund resource development and works across the entire organization raising donations from individual donors in support of PUC’s mission. The Annual Fund Manager implements the strategy developed by the Head of Advancement and the Advancement Team in securing donations and executes the stewardship and acknowledgement plans, and reports on department metrics weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. This person reports to the Head of Advancement and is responsible for implementing strategies related to donations from individuals. The Annual Fund Manager partners with leaders across PUC in shaping and articulating content reflective of PUC’s values. The ideal candidate will be familiar with standard resource development practices, the Donor Bill of Rights, is highly organized, able to work independently and with a team and possesses a strong commitment to authentic narrative development while having strong relationship management skills.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)


Strategy and Thought Leadership

· Participate in Annual Strategy Planning with the Advancement Team.

· Develop and implement an annual work plan.

· Develop content for e-appeals and print campaigns.

· Engage existing donors and increase new donors to PUC.

· Stay current with and connected to community challenges and triumphs.

· Communicate regularly with donors.

· Provide internal updates to staff across the organization as needed to keep all staff informed on upcoming campaigns, events and activities.


Operations and Outcomes 70%

· Meet annual financial goals.

· Implement best practices in resource development.

· Track and monitor metrics that measure progress to goals and Advancement benchmarks.

· Develop and implement annual calendar of appeals and stewardship.

· Work across PUC to curate narrative from participants in PUC programs and activities.

· Enter all donations into the database system.

· Implement acknowledgement plan for all donations received.

· Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on Advancement progress to goals outlined in the department’s annual work plan.

· Develop practices and systems as needed to ensure solid stewardship of all gifts received by PUC.

· Assist Head of Advancement as needed in scheduling meetings, training events and donor communications.


People and Community Development 15%

· Develop partnerships internally and externally.

· Build relationships and engage donors in PUC events and activities.

· Participate in regular team meetings.

· Participate in team and all-agency events as required.

· Participate in professional development opportunities.


Financial Management 15%

· Work with finance partners to tie-out donations weekly.

· Provide input and assistance with developing the annual Advancement budget.

· Plan & manage program expenses.


Required Skills/Experience

· Strong writing skills.

Salary : $48,235 - $67,000
