Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to dementia care and pediatrics.
- Administer injections
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress accurately in medical records.
- Utilize coding systems, including ICD-10, for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Stay current with best practices in acute care management and evidence-based medicine.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Experience in administering injections
- Knowledge of coding systems (ICD-10) is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in vital signs assessment, dementia care, pediatrics, and acute care management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
