Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service. This role requires a good driving record, your own tools/toolbox, and a good attitude. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.
Walk-ins are welcome, apply Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
- Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes.
- Work collaboratively with team members in a small business environment to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are advantageous.
