- Responsible for ensuring that a superior quality product is manufactured and delivered in a timely fashion while assisting in the management of inbound/outbound ingredients and finished feed.
- With the use of our technology, operator will ensure that the right feed is delivered to the right pig at the right time.
- Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Direct setup and adjustments of machines.
- Manage ingredient inventory levels based on usage and production needs.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Help to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
- Perform daily sanitation to all our areas of the mill and equipment.
- Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
- Must be able to climb ladders on interior and exterior bins.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and turn a crank to hitch a trailer.
- Frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Comply with all bio-security, safety, and animal welfare policies.
