Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinician, located in Portland, ME. The Clinician will provide direct therapeutic services to clients, including individual and group counseling. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining detailed patient records, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support client recovery. The role also involves providing crisis intervention and engaging with clients' support systems to drive sustainable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience in individual and group counseling, with a strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating personalized treatment plans
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills for working with clients and families
- Ability to handle crisis management situations calmly and effectively
- Experience or knowledge in addiction recovery and/or mental health treatment is preferred
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- State licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or equivalent is required
