Pillar Projects is a Brooklyn-based, director-led creative production company that produces photo video projects from pre to post, for category-disrupting brands. We partner with brands and agencies to concept, produce, and deliver high-quality video and photo content across commercial, branded, and social campaigns. We’re a lean, fast-moving team that values strong creative, smart execution, and clear communication.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Producer / CEO Associate to operate at the intersection of production, creative, and business. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who wants to be deeply embedded in a fast-moving creative production company, balancing business, production, and creative execution. This is ideal for someone early in their career who wants exposure to every layer of how a modern production company operates.
This is a hybrid role designed for someone who wants to be hands-on in production, while also learning and contributing to the business and operational side of a growing production company.
You will work directly with the Founder and act as an extension of the CEO, helping keep projects moving, supporting new business efforts, and stepping into production where needed. This is not a traditional assistant role, you will own execution across multiple areas and play a meaningful role in how projects and the business move forward.
1. Assistant to CEO
- Track conversations, decisions, and next steps across meetings and calls
- Manage follow-ups, deadlines, and ongoing initiatives
- Organize workflows, timelines, and internal systems
- Build pitch decks, treatments, and presentations
2. Business Development & Growth Support
- Assist with outreach, prospecting, and identifying new opportunities
- Manage CRM, pipeline tracking, and lead organization
- Support proposal writing, estimates, and pitch development
- Conduct research on target clients, industries, and trends
3. Client & Project Management
- Help manage agency and client relationships
- Track timelines, deliverables, and approvals
- Support clear, professional communication across stakeholders
- Assist with post-production workflows
- Ensure projects stay organized and moving forward
4. Production & On-Set Support
- Be present on set (or preparing for set) as needed
- Assist with shoot prep (styling, props, logistics)
- Help coordinate crew, freelancers, and schedules
5. Creative & Content Support
- Capture BTS photo/video content on shoots
- Edit social content (Reels, TikTok, etc.)
- Assist in developing content ideas and executions

Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in creative, production or content creation
- Comfortable on set and in fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong deck building skills
- Familiar with Google Workspace, Frame.io, Figma
