Job Overview:
Highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager who supports the execution of market research projects, with a key focus on overseeing recruitment operations. This role ensures that participant recruitment for qualitative and quantitative studies is executed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a supervisory role, strong communication skills, and a knack for juggling multiple timelines.
Responsibilities:
Recruiter Oversight & Coordination
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal market research screeners.
- Monitor recruitment progress against quotas, timelines, and screening criteria.
- Ensure screeners are aligned with project goals, respondent profiles, and client expectations.
- Troubleshoot recruitment issues, escalate risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Project Management Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of market research studies (e.g., focus groups, IDIs, online communities, surveys).
- Develop and maintain project timelines and recruitment trackers.
- Coordinate project logistics including development, scheduling, client updates, and any other materials.
Client & Internal Communication
- Provide timely updates to project managers and/or clients regarding recruitment status and challenges.
- Prepare recruitment progress reports and documentation for internal and client use.
- Support project debriefs by providing insights on recruitment outcomes and areas for improvement.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Review participant screener responses for accuracy and fit.
- Ensure participant data is collected, stored, and shared in accordance with privacy and data protection guidelines (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
What we are looking for:
- Experience supervising or overseeing the work of others in a project-based environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple short-term projects simultaneously.
- Strong focus on market research project coordination; this is not an information technology or software development project management role.
- 1–3 years of experience in market research, project coordination, or recruitment management is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools.
- Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies is preferred.
- Experience working with respondent recruitment platforms or vendors is a plus.
