The Electrical Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining electrical safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role supports safe work practices related to electrical systems, promotes hazard awareness, and helps prevent electrical incidents through training, audits, and continuous improvement of safety procedures.
The position must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include travel, weekends, and extended hours.
The Construction Superintendent will report to the Electrical Department Manager and will work primarily out of their location.
This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. In accordance with The Company’s Drug and Alcohol policy, employees are required to participate in random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing as requested.

The Electrical Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining electrical safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The Construction Superintendent will report to the Electrical Department Manager and will work primarily out of their location.
- Develop, implement, and maintain electrical safety programs in accordance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Conduct electrical safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
- Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices.
- Review electrical work permits and energized work authorizations.
- Provide training on electrical safety, arc flash awareness, and proper PPE usage.
- Assist in incident investigations related to electrical hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation related to electrical safety compliance and training records.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve safety practices.
- Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement and safety initiatives.
- 1 years of electrical industry related experience preferred
- 1 years management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Possess excellent networking skills
- Able to organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals
- Possess the ability for critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in team environments
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment
- Ability to balance multiple projects
- Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude
- Preferred knowledge of software, such as estimating software, Procore, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Suit (Projects, Outlook, Word, and Excel, etc).
- Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel
- Sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Maintain focus in an environment with distractions
- Ability to independently lift objects up to 50 pounds
