Construction Superintendent
We are partnering with a respected general contractor in Northeast Ohio that is seeking a motivated Construction Superintendent to join its growing team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to accelerate into a full Superintendent role. You will start by supporting senior superintendents on large commercial/multifamily projects, learning systems, processes, and field leadership. Within 6–9 months, the goal is for you to run your own project independently.

What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate weekly site activities with Project Managers and subcontractors
- Maintain project schedules and communicate progress or delays to the PM team
- Complete detailed daily logs (subs on site, weather, inspections, work performed) in project management software
- Lead daily subcontractor coordination: manpower allocation, sequencing, and material deliveries
- Conduct regular walk-throughs with clients to maintain clarity, satisfaction, and alignment
- Monitor field progress and quality; escalate issues and change order needs when appropriate
- Oversee final site activities, punch lists, and closeout tasks—including Certificates of Occupancy
- Participate in post-project evaluations to support continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of superintendent experience or a skilled trades background with leadership potential (carpentry, framing, concrete, etc.)
- Ambition to grow into a full Superintendent role
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain a productive jobsite
- Strong communication and leadership skills—comfortable directing crews and interacting with clients
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of documenting daily field operations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam or construction management platforms is a plus
- OSHA 30 required (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation is flexible based on background—the GC is open to candidates from a variety of construction paths who want to step into site leadership.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
