As a Pilgrim Security Guard, you will be responsible for enforcing rules/regulations and providing a safe and secure environment, patrolling assigned areas, watching and reporting potential safety hazards and unusual occurrences, evaluating and minimizing risk, conflict, and violence.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Patrols assigned areas
- Identifies unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas/property to help prevent theft, injuries or damages to property
- Prepares and submits written reports in a complete and accurate manner; makes notations in TrackTik of all incidents; always keeps management informed
- Recognizes, acknowledges, respects and effectively interact with people of different ages and cultures, establishes positive relationships, gains trust and respect of others
- Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds
- Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency
- Checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Strong writing skills to provide and maintain documentation
- Ability to see, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, crawl, use knees, and use back for a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 12 hours at a time
- Ability to run up several flights of stairs and issue instructions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings
- Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR certification preferred
- Willingness to be trained in the Management of Aggressive Behavior and AVADE Workplace Violence Training
