This isn't a traditional enforcement role; it is a high-visibility, relational leadership position designed for someone who believes that a thriving school culture is the foundation for academic innovation. As an on-the-ground leader of our division, you will bridge the gap between big-picture strategy and daily classroom reality, ensuring that every student is seen, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.

Salary Range And Benefits
The salary range for this position is $83,000-$105,000 depending on experience and qualifications. We off er a full and robust range of medical, dental and vision benefits, participation in a 403b retirement plan, which we will match up to 4%, and life insurance. More information about all of our benefits will be provided during the interview process.
Timeline and Start Date
This position will remain open until filled. The start date for this position is August 1, 2026. Ideally, the successful candidate would also be able to participate in our leadership work from June 22-30, but is not a requirement. Major Areas of Responsibility
- Act as a primary point of contact for families regarding student conduct and well-being, building trusting partnerships that align the home and school experience.
- Provide holistic student support by triangulating academic, behavioral, and social-emotional information to design and monitor eff ective student interventions.
- Lead the daily implementation of the school’s discipline philosophy, ensuring a safe, respectful, and consistent environment through a high-visibility presence in all communal and transitional spaces.
- Conduct daily classroom walkthroughs and partner with the Director to provide faculty with real-time feedback, ensuring pedagogical standards and student-centered design are executed with consistency.
- Direct the daily operations of school life in the Secondary School, including announcements, assemblies, attendance, and front-offi ce logistics to maintain a predictable and rigorous divisional rhythm.
- Serve as a core member of the Secondary Leadership Team, acting as a proxy for the Director and providing critical updates on instructional trends, faculty needs, and divisional health.
- Teach one class in the Secondary School.
- Experience in school leadership or a dean-level role, with a demonstrated track record of managing student conduct and leading teachers in a Secondary School setting.
- Deep understanding of the unique developmental needs of middle school and high school students.
- Excellent pedagogical skills and ability to design engaging, project-based units.
- Ability to model high-level pedagogy as a classroom teacher and provide formative coaching that helps faculty improve their practice in real-time.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, specifi cally in navigating complex or sensitive conversations with parents and faculty.
- Experience working in schools that utilize innovative instructional models, such as project-based learning or design thinking.
- Ability to manage complex logistics while keeping the "human element" of the school community at the center.
- A Master’s degree in Education, School Leadership, or a related fi eld.
