This roleis responsible forensuring equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and supervisingmaintenanceteam members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The maintenance team supports production and facilities by ensuring equipment uptime, safe operations, and efficient maintenance execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance team members performing repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, buildings, and utility systems.
- Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensuretimelyand effective completion of maintenance activities.
- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while minimizing downtime.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to support equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in resolving problems and improving technical capability.
- Support facility improvement projects, enforce company policies, and coordinate procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:High School Diploma or GEDrequired;
- Experience:Minimum 3 years ofdirectly relatedmaintenance supervision experience; experience in poultry processing or food manufacturing environment preferred;
- Skills:Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems,proficiencyin plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, basic computerskillsand ability to support maintenance systems, and ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.
- Schedule:Monday – Friday with occasional weekends;
