Feed Mill Receiving Clerk- 1st & 2nd Shift
Harrisonburg, VA
Position Summary
- Unload corn trains-We receive 75 to 150 cars per week
- Unload other rall cars – 20 to 50 cars per week
- Unload bulk ingredients trucks -We receive around 20 trucks per week
- Unload bag ingredients trucks
- Load out corn trucks
- Print receiving and load out scale tickets
- Keep corn re-claim system running
- Clean in the receiving and other areas of the mill
- Fill in other areas in the mill as needed
- High School Diploma preferred
- Able to work well with others and without direct supervision
- Able to work in a dusty environment
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Excellent attendance, safety and work record
- Ability to operate machinery including Train locomotive
- Schedule:Monday-Friday with some weekend work required; 1st shift 6:00 am-3:00 pm
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off:Sick leave, vacation, company observed holidays or, any other statutorily required paid leave
- 401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base hourly salaryrate of$21.75; 2nd shift position has $1.00 shift differential.
