Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, providing clear and empathetic guidance
- Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in vendor systems
- Conduct benefits orientations and support open enrollment activities
- Audit benefits data for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure high‑quality service
- Assist with leave of absence administration (FMLA, state leaves, ADA accommodations, etc.)
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements
- Support HR projects and process improvements related to benefits and employee experience
- Must be bilingual
- 2–4 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role
- Strong understanding of health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and relevant regulations (HIPAA, ACA, FMLA)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, friendly way
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Customer‑service mindset and a collaborative approach
- Familiarity with leave management systems
