DescriptionParts Room Clerk (2nd Shift) 'The parts room clerk is responsible for managing inventory, stocking, and issuing parts and materials to maintenance and plant personnel. This position ensures accurate record-keeping and organization of the parts room to support efficient plant operations.Schedule & Pay :
- Shift : 2nd Shift-2 : 00PM to 10 : 30PM
- Pay Rate : $18.10 / hour $1.00 shift differential
- Schedule : Requires working one weekend per monthKey Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track parts usage.
- Stock and issue parts and materials to plant and maintenance personnel.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack (certification required or willingness to obtain).
- Ensure proper storage and organization of parts in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and orderly parts room.
- Adapt to varying work conditions, including temperature fluctuations.
- Lift up to 70 lbs. and perform tasks requiring use of both hands and arms.
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
