Assistant Store/Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store/Sales Manager to join our retail team. In this pivotal role, you will support the store’s daily operations, oversee sales activities, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. • Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
• Supervise and motivate sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members
• Handle cash register operations, cashiering duties, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
• Coordinate shift schedules, monitor employee performance, and facilitate training & development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, store policies, and customer service protocols
• Collaborate with management on marketing efforts and sales management strategies

Skills:

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities
• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement
• Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems, retail math, and store management software
• Skilled in employee orientation, training & development, and team management techniques
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering a positive work environment
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills combined with strong time management abilities
