What you do
- Develops and maintains high-quality documentation, including engineering reports, product manuals, system architecture descriptions, and training documentations
- Uses 2D/3D CAD tools to create digital rendering configurations and illustrations
- Translates complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Develops, modifies, and maintains aircraft continuing airworthiness documentation such as AFM, ICA, IPD, and service / modification instructions for aircraft completion projects
- Defines and implements a scalable knowledge management strategy that integrates documentation, internal wikis, training materials, and customer support content
- Curates and maintains internal knowledge bases for cross-functional use, including onboarding guides, FAQs, and process documentation
What you bring
- BS Degree in field of engineering with extensive experience in technical authoring or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-4 years of experience in aviation or related field required
- Must be proficient in the use of Solid Edge with Siemens Teamcenter or comparable 2D/3D CAD suite
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Visio, and 3D rendering tools like SolidEdge Keyshot or similar; experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint work sites strongly desired
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Must meet the criteria of a U.S. person as defined under ITAR 22 CFR 120.62
- 11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus
