Responsibilities
- Teach private and semi-private Pilates lessons
- Teach a wide variety of group Pilates equipment classes and mat classes
- Develop lessons and classes that are well-rounded and physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
- Encourage students and facilitate their progress to the next level
- Complete administrative activities, such as recording student attendance and notes for lessons
- Promote programs, classes, and membership in the studio and through social media and networking
- Deliver exceptional customer service and care
- Comprehensive Pilates teacher training certification
- Experience teaching on all Pilates apparatus and at all levels
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- Able to teach all types of clients, including those seeking pain relief and recovery from injury
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
