Position Description:
Under the guidance of the Service manager, the Dispatcher will lead and direct the daily functions of the dispatch department. He/She will help with scheduling and dispatching technicians for service, maintenance, or emergency repairs outside the place of business and will act as a liaison between the customer and the company, making sure customer needs are met by creating a customer to client atmosphere in all interaction with internal and externalcustomers.
Responsibilities
· Efficiently schedule and dispatch HVAC and refrigeration technicians for service calls, maintenance, or emergency repairs outside the place of business and will act as the liaison between the customer and the company, making sure the customer needs are met.
· Log all work orders into the software system.
· Coordinate with customers to schedule appointments and provide necessary information.
· Maintain technician on-call schedule.
· Monitor status of all uncommitted service repairs.
· Receive, process, and prioritize all incoming HVAC service call requests and consult by manager.
· Monitor technician schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demands.
· Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and technician activities.
· Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely service delivery.
· Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
· Demonstrate phone and e-mail etiquette.
· Review and correct technician timecards to ensure payroll is correct.
· Report any issues to the service manager.
· Close out projects and pass them over to billing.
· Ensure that schedules of technicians are prepared a day in advance.
· Ensure all material needed to complete the work is ordered and placed in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Working knowledge in Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
· Ability to handle multiple-lined phone.
· Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
· Proficient in using dispatching software and computer applications.
· Proficiency with computer software used in general industry.
Pay: $23.50 - $28.30 per hour
