• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on RV electrical systems, including automotive electrical systems and wiring.
• Conduct mechanical repairs such as engine, transmission, suspension, shocks & struts, brakes, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Service tires, perform alignments, and handle wheel balancing to promote safety and smooth operation.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid checks, and preventative inspections.
• Repair specialized systems such as plumbing, air brakes, diesel engines, and equipment assemblies.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues using automotive diagnostics techniques.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures. Requirements
• Proven dealership or service technician experience working on RVs or similar vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Electrical experience including automotive electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with transmissions, oil changes, alignment procedures, suspension systems, HVAC units, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools and perform equipment repair tasks safely.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems within RVs is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions.
• Valid technical certifications or relevant training preferred; dealership or auto body repair experience highly valued. Join us as an RV Technician where your skills will drive success! Pay: $26.00 - $37.00 per hour
