Job description: Afterschool Staff Support - Pike Plus (Part-Time)
Start Date: 10 Month Position, September 2nd, 2025 - through Mid-June (Additional hours for IgniteED@Pike days or other times Pike Auxiliary is needed to provide student supervision) Staff Orientation will be held the last week of August.
Hours: Mon thru Friday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Flexibility on Mon, Tues, and Friday for a 3:00 pm start time. Flexibility on all days to leave at 5:00 pm.
Salary or hourly rate: Hourly rate ($18 - $20)
Eligibility Requirements: High School Seniors and older with documented proven experience working with school age children.
Reporting to: Director of Auxiliary Programs
Description: This position is essential with student supervision (PK - 9th grade) in the Pike Plus after school program. Pike Plus offers an opportunity after school for students to enjoy a snack, enjoy supervised recreation and have choices with a variety of activities such as study hall, indoor crafts and games.
This position also supports IgniteED@Pike programs when there is no school for students due to faculty professional development or parent conferences. These days provide experiential learning opportunities for students on and off campus, including supporting programs by vendors and field trips. After school staff are encouraged to work when available.
Whenever supervising children, this person will be on a team of one to two other Pike staff or faculty, with the primary function being to provide active supervision to ensure a positive and safe environment for all students.
