What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Install Yard Foreman position at Pike Nurseries?
Primary Duties And Responsibilities

- Unload all materials for install jobs from vendors and stores
- Communicates status or discrepancies to the Procurement Coordinator of installation orders.
- Finalizes receiving documents in Eagle
- Communicates with Procurement Coordinator and Store the status of filling each install job
- Creating and receiving transfer documents to retail stores
- Conduct quarterly cycle counts to ensure inventory in the system is accurate.
- Assist in loading install jobs and verify quality and accuracy.
- Ensures all plant material is protected from extremely cold temperatures when needed
- Works in a retail store when the need for receiving, maintenance, loading, sales, delivery, etc.
- Delivers product to the job site when needed
- Ensure all products are of high-quality standards. Completing vendor credits for sub-standard or non-shipped product
- Responsible for care of plant material shipped to the holding yard
- Separate and label all install jobs by customer when the product arrives.
- Receive all materials shipped to the holding yard and enter into Eagle according to receiving procedures.
- Two year degree in Horticultural or three (3) years in a garden center sales role or landscape installation.
- Is certified or becomes state Certified within one (1) year of job classification.
- Has a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate well with employees.
- Intermediate level of skills in Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Has the ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Has the ability to use a 10-key calculator.
- Is able to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally.
- Is able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Is able to multi-task.
